Hmmmn, killing one person is better than killing many, so you say Is the killings by buddhists that so different than the killings of christians? Nope, because they both have sinned and separated themselves by simply detaching from morality.
Which Mediterranean god are you talking about becase if there are other gods then please tell us, since it seems you know them so well.
Just be sure that you are gonna be able to defend these gods thoroughly with comparative analysis Ok?

Again, you're not answering my question, whether killing one person is different than that of killing thousands If you could only answer that simple question, then all the premises of your own question should have been answered first hand. ;D If my answer led to a conclusion of my premises then Your God kills and you could not justify that a god who supposedly is merciful kills innocent people.

Don't we have a topic for that if God kills? you are only showing that you could not answer a simple question Let me spoon feed you once more: Check the history of China in its entirety and you'll be able to realized that Buddhists kill Buddhists not in thousands but in millions

8-)Still, an indirect answer is not gonna cut it for you. How could you justify that living as a Buddhist is better than being Christian if Buddhism itself kills. Is killing one (1) person different than killing thousands?
For the fact that you mentioned killing in this thread.

Are we blinded by our own fanatical views? We are far greater knowledgeable as a "christian country" (80 percent of you) in the Far East but the most corrupt as well.
This is exactly what it meant to be a hypocrite!

Did you not state that Buddhism has a bettter way of life than Christianity? And since you never answered it; this could be your last chance: Is killing one (1) person different than killing thousands?

"Tell us about what 's happening in the Philippines then a proclaimed "sole christian country in Asia " as the most corrupt."Because most Filipinos do not have the discipline of what christianity is all about of choosing what is right and not doing any wrongdoings. But Philippines is not the big picture.
During the cold war, there were two (2) superpowers: U.S. with a Christian God and U.S.S.R. with no god. But now, there is only one superpower in the world, a christian country. United States is being on top as a role model and being followed by other countries because of things the christian way

Again, tell us what is happening to China nowadays?
A communist country embracing capitalism, and suppression at the same time plunging into human rights violations in its own domain, Darfur, Tibet while maintaining its own interest with Russia and Burma's military regime.

That is good to know that you're now enlightened to what has currently been happening to China
But on the othehand, don't be blind for the simple reason that human right violations in China have already been there and existing in their worst form even before capitalism was accepted in the early 90's. Do you know how many pandemics and epidemics have risen out (from) China?
Before you make a research on that, tell us as to why China embraced capitalism into its economic system?

Are you buying time again?
Neway, China had the same closed-door policy in the beginning and as explained from my previous postings (just like Japan) ;D
So instead of defending and making a stand, you just added another hole
(For the Nth time) Perhaps you can tell us now as to why China & Japan embraced capitalism into their economic systems? ;D

I am not buying time, close-door policy was adapted by Japan and China because they believed in something which is essential to succeed.Capitalism invades through globalization and closed door policy was a strong foundation.

No, they have to take close door policy to strengthen themselves in matters of commerce and trade where their own comes first before any foreign trades. A good example is a shot down of Starbucks in Beijing's forbidden city were Chinese culture and produce has been protected first.

That is also one of the reasons why the Philippines on the other hand ecnomically failed.

"No, they have to take close door policy to strengthen themselves in matters of commerce and trade where their own comes first before any foreign trades."What do you mean by "no?" It seems that you don't know what you're writing here. You're just trying to deceive P7ers of your big lie with your intent of a deliberate distortion of the truth If it's a closed-door policy, it means no other foreign businesses can invest within the host country in the first place (as in closed means closed and no one can get in). On the contrary, lots of foreign investor established their businesses within China's domain; and a very good example of these entities were America's McDonalds and the 103 Yonghe King restaurants wholly owned by Philippine's Jollibee.

Have you read the article? it says:
BEIJING: Starbucks has closed a coffeehouse in China's former imperial palace, the company said, ending a presence that prompted protests by Chinese critics who said it damaged a major historical site.
which is an implication of a culture. Yes closed-door policy does not allow any other foreign investments to come in and you agreed in your previous post that China also adopted a closed-door policy when i mentioned Japan, which in turn an emphasis of my previous post that the policy is related one way or another to trade in connection with the working class and that this policy was foremost done by Japan. You did not get it.

Come on, are those your indeces? You have to compare Philippine economy way back its golden years when it attained one of the highest growth among Asian countries. To promote it the way you said is a poor standard, now that the country runs categorically with the poorest to name a few? Bangladesh and Nepal.

Oh yes, I read its entirety! Did you?
Here's the paragraph which is placed in the middle of said article:
"Starbucks, which is based in Seattle, opened its first coffeehouse in China in 1999 and now has 250 mainland outlets. Its success has spawned many Chinese imitators. The chairman of Starbucks, Howard Schultz, described China last year as its No. 1 growth market."
And as I have previously posted that sometimes, a "big lie" is produced by a person's misreading of certain articles and let me repost my prior statement.
The fact that...
Starbucks did not close because of culture but for the reasons of politics; and Starbucks (1999-2007) did not go to China because of its own insistence, but it was invited to invest there by the officials of the Palace Museum. Another thing is that when Starbucks closed down in the year 2007, many Chinese imitators of the starbucks' product lines spawned (or opened such firms.) So where's the culture as a factor? The only culture the Chinese have shown is being the best imitators in the world.

Of course I did get what you meant and that was also the reason I asked you to justify your position as to why they have embraced capitalism into their closed-door policies. If they were to succeed with open door policies why put capitalism into it (as an input)?
You tried to justify by citing the case of Starbucks and yet you are so blind (as always) by not citing other foreign investors who were offered (and invited) there to invest such as *McDonalds, *Jollibee affiliates, *Merrill Lynch Int'l., WKI, Woodward Governors *Microsoft Corp., *Motorola, *John Hancock, etc.
* denotes businesses likewise having outlets in Beijing.

Golden years? I'm not into that age yet but if you can give me the year, then, perhaps we can tackle and can give better justification on the other topic, "Why Philippine economy failed." Not on this argument because I merely answered your own sentiment basing on your premise which is - " That is also one of the reasons why the Philippines on the other hand ecnomically failed." Take note though, those indexes (or indices) were posted here firsthand just a day before GMA's SONA Nope, I did not make her speech

And the answer to that is simple:
John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
and then:
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Do you know what it means Rafael?
Not yet? Then, read another verse:
2Cr 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
This particular verse is a command for us to be perfect by being of one mind and be of good comfort; and to live as a believer of Christ. Christians have to make the gift of grace useful in a spiritual way, but if we continue in sinning and disobeying the commandments of God, then, Christians can not be like Christ.
No one can be perfect like Christ but God can make a person perfect as likened to the life of Job or Abraham as in Genesis 17:1 or we can also be perfect if and only if we passed our test (Teacher-student scenario) the Christian way and be in the Kingdom of the Lord (please refer to the first Book of Kings).
1Ki 15:14 But the high places were not removed: nevertheless Asa's heart was perfect with the LORD all his days. ----------
Reminder of the Week:
"Do your research first so that you will not be left behind."
Try reading the first Book of John because every one has sinned - even Gandhi.

Hi Raf, i simplified natin that i would hope na magka unawaan tayo... Romans 3:10 as it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one; Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" ("ALL" includes you and me.) sempre ibig lang sabihin nun, kahit na Kristiyano ka na, prone ka pa rin sa kasalanan at walang matuwid, wala kahit is... i agree diyan sa sinasabi mo na unlikeness ng mga believers sa Lord Jesus Christ kasi nga kung pareho niya ang mga believers eh sinasabi lang na di na namin kailangan ang panginoon na siyang Mediator namin to our Dear God... 1 timothy 2:5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, Hebrews 12:24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel. at kaya nga need natin ang Diyos sa buhay natin thru Christ our Lord para po makamit natin ang Eternal Life thru Him, for none is righteous na nga eh... kung Righteous tayo eh di pede na tayong mag direct sa Diyos nating Ama and we not need a Mediator na nga kung gayon... end of story, eh and kaso we all have our shares of sins and not one is righteous, ako makasalanan and even now nagkakamali pa rin at hindi ko intensiyon na may magalit sakin dahil sa belief ko.... kaya we need Jesus and thru Him we could be saved, papano? e di ba nga He redeemed us from sins... hirap po ba unawain nun? John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. relative verse po dito sa John; John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (KJV) “Who Can forgiver sin’s – Only God”".... who can forgive sins but God only?" Mark 2:7Acts 2:38 “Peter answered, ‘Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’” “Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’ ” Matthew 28:18-20eto pa po yun isang importante; Whosoever Deny Jesus Christ……..Mathews 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in heaven Whosoever Believed…John 3:36 The one who believes in the Son has eternal life, but the one who refuses to believe in the Son will not see life; instead, the wrath of God remains on him. Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. kaya po kung tututukan natin ang mga nagkakasala at mga makasalanang Kristiyano at hindi yung sarili natin tungo sa pananampalataya sa Diyos na Buhay sa pamamagitan ni Jesus, wala talagang mangyayayari niyan kundi batikos, puna dito at puna dun... it clearly states na "not One is righteous na nga eh" kaya we need to repent, pray ask forgiveness and God is willing to forgive us... di naman siguro mahirap humingi ng tawad sa Mapagmahal na Diyos... at ang nakakatuwa po, kahit gaano kalaki ang kasalanan natin, kaya niya tayong patawarin... Magandang Araw sa lahat... migz
Going back to the topic. Your christians are so unlike your Christ. If your Christians are so unlike your Christ then woe unto you said your Christ.
