John 5:39(NLT) "You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me!40 Yet you refuse to come to me to receive this life.41 "Your approval means nothing to me,42 because I know you don't have God's love within you. 43 For I have come to you in my Father's name, and you have rejected me. Yet if others come in their own name, you gladly welcome them.44 No wonder you can't believe! For you gladly honor each other, but you don't care about the honor that comes from the one who alone is God.

Gen 1:1(NLT) In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Gen 1:14(NLT) Then God said, "Let lights appear in the sky to separate the day from the night. Let them be signs to mark the seasons, days, and years.
Gen 1:15(NLT) Let these lights in the sky shine down on the earth." And that is what happened.
Gen 1:16(NLT) God made two great lights—the larger one to govern the day, and the smaller one to govern the night. He also made the stars.
The relationship between the Holy Bible and Astronomy had been made complicated when the "old" Roman Catholic Church teaching when they adopted the scientific treatises of Ptolemy and Aristotle that the Earth was the center of the universe. In actuality, none in the Holy Bible tells us that it is so.
Then there came Galileo, who sought to confirm his theory that the Earth rotates around the Sun as the Sun is the center of the universe which is aggressively presented by the 16th century Polish astronomers Copernicus. Skeptics adhered to such theory in order to counteract the mistakes teachings of the "old" Roman Catholic Church. But even them(skeptics), they were wrong also to rely on such premise that the Sun is the center of the Universe.
But even if different astronomers' mathematical models do not constitute proof that the universe was actually the works of God, it encompasses representation of what are stated in the Holy Bible as the Heavens bear witness to the Glory of God.
Rom 1:20(NLT) For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

Another facet of skepticism is that Astronomy in the Holy Bible is said to be the same as to that of Astrology. The latter is a psuedo-science based on the view that stars and planets exert a strong influence on human affairs. Astrology claims that relative positions of heavenly bodies at an individual's births determine his or hers basic make-up in person's daily chores(horoscope) or the changing astral positions can be used by astrologers to predict the future. The heavens were never intended for the purposes of Astrology and by practicing it, it is prohibited in the Holy Bible.
Deu 4:19(NLT) And when you look up into the sky and see the sun, moon, and stars—all the forces of heaven—don't be seduced into worshiping them. The LORD your God gave them to all the peoples of the earth.
One of the main reasons God created the stars, the sun, and the moon is for calendar keeping. Astrology should not even be consulted or used for amusement or entertainment just like what Madame Auring used to do in the Philippine Showbiz.
Doesn't she know that the so-called astrological sign is no longer valid for horoscope? You are surprised are you not? The precision of Earth's Axis is no longer the same as it is used to be! Astrology is based on the "FORMER" positions of stars as they were 3,000 years ago in the times of the ancient Babylon. Thus, a person is actually born under a different star sign than is assigned by the outdated horoscope in used today.
If Madame Auring and her likes can adjust to the changes of the Earth's axis then perhaps she can explain as to how twins or triplets have different destinies in their daily lives even when they are all born with the same star signs? How?
Deu 4:16(NLT) So do not corrupt yourselves by making an idol in any form—whether of a man or a woman, 17 an animal on the ground, a bird in the sky,

Job 38:31(KJV) Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?
Job 38:32(KJV) Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?
2Kings 23:5(NLT) And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.
In this post, the practice of Astrology in the book of Kabbalah is called Mazal, Mazalot, Zodiac Destiny or Kqabbalistic Astrology. In other words, it is a system of Astrology based upon the Hebrew Kabbalah. The word Mazzaroth as highlighted above is related to the word Mazalot ; even though they may have different meaning(usage) in "2 Kings", it can not be mistaken that Mazalot refers to the Zodiac. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/de/Ecliptic_path.jpgIn the link above, the realityis that the Earth goes in an orbit around the Sun, it seems from the Earth as we gaze up in heaven that the Sun moves over the ecliptic (red) on the celestial dome. When the Sun seems to pass through the vernal equinox (longitude 0°), the longitude of the Earth itself is 180° longitude.
This is sometimes called hokmat ha-nissayon or prognastics in Astrology and quite different to hokmat ha-hizzayon or the wisdom of star-seeing or knowledge in Astronomy. I hope you can see the difference not in spelling but in practice.
To continue in the other book or I should rather say ... we'll continue in our brief study of Hebrew Cosmology.

2Peter 3:17(NASB) You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness,
2Peter 3:18(NASB) but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
This is the time that all of us need to be serious and feed our hearts and mind that the Holy Bible is God's inspired word which litterally means that the Bilble is God Breathed. Our purpose on Earth is to glorify God so I beg you to let celebrate all and grow in Christ. Let us alsogrow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, to Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. God Bless us all and let's start this crusade in unison.
My brothers and sisters, our deepest fear is not that we are imperfect. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light and not our darkness which frightens us most. We ask ourselves, "Who are we to be brilliant, to be gorgeous, to be talented, and to be famous?" Rather, it should be who are we not to be? We are the children of God! And in God, faith must be enforced by reason, because when faith becomes blind- it dies, our belief in God dies.
To the skeptics, faith and doubt are both needed, not as antagonists to each other, but working side by side to take us around the unknown curve - Knowing God. Because if we weave in faith, God will guide us find the thread of eternal life. To them, as we practice in trying to convince others that God exist, it is liken that we are trying to convince our shadows that the sun exists. Do they actually know as I believe, that a little faith will bring our souls to heaven, but a lot of faith will bring heaven to our souls - and if they or even you do not believe in this then Christ is not in you.

God's desire to mankind is for us to know the truth in order to be saved. But because of Free Will they tend to know the truth and yet they tackle the wrong road towards salvation. Is free Will to blame or God made the mistake of giving it to us?

BUT but but and isasagot ... ... utos daw ito ng Diyos ... ...
Ang kautusan ng Diyos ay naangkop lang po noon Lumang Tipan(Old Covenant) at ang karaniwang ginagamit nila is the verse found in the Old Testament and it is as follows:
New Testament that states this:
NEXT: Jesus didn't come to destroy the Old Covenant!

hi Always,
since we believe in the same principles about tithing i will post for those in defense of new testament tithing, some declare it this way----
starting with a temple tax--- asking us a recall of what Christ did in keeping the Mosaic Law about paying the temple tax--
i believe that discussing it from the beginning will give us more light on how to understand other new testament believers why they keep on tithing

At sa Sulat sa mga Hebreo sa Ikasampung Kabanata ay ipinahiwatig na ang and Dugo ni Kristo ay meant to cleanse us completely--immediately--that we may now "serve the living God" This again gives us the understanding that we are made priests unto God by the blood of Jesus. This "service" this "priesthood" is for all Christians--not just for "some"--not just for a select group of Levites or a specific tribe of Christianity. The work of serving God is for all--to "purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?" It is to all who accept Christ as Lord and Savior. It is the blood of Christ that purges us from our dead works--and release us to serve God in our anointing.
We are perfected--by the blood. Our sin completely forgiven--forever--we are perfect forever in God's sight by the blood of Jesus. (as long as we do not fall from grace--as long as we continue to walk in faith and don't put ourselves under the law again.
Ano ba talaga ang "offerings" noon na under the Mosaic Law?
Ang isang tema ng pag-aabuloy noon ng 10% ay para sa ating mga kasalanan ngunit the word of God states that there is no more need for an offering for sin. Well, we all understand this--we all understand that it is the blood of Jesus which makes continual offering for all our sins. But do we realize that the offering which was eliminated from the Old Covenant--was the tithe? 1/10 of Israel's grain and herd was considered Holy unto God--and made as the offering for sin. Jesus called Himself meat--and bread--offered freely to all to partake of Him (this means we are all priests--since only the priests of Israel could partake of the meat and grain of the sacrifice--therefore all are ministers unto God). Jesus offering for sin eliminates the need for more offering--therefore no more tithe.

Kahit pa ito ay more than 10% or less than that.
God loves a cheerful giver.

Is your belief the same as your faith?
When we talk about Belief and Faith, we're talking about them in the context of achieving our goals. Both terms of course refer to roughly the same thing, but there is an unspoken and subtle difference between the two.
Belief is pretty much based on the fact that you’re confident you will achieve your goals. That belief can be based on past experience, logic, or just the fact that you know somebody who achieved a similar goal.
Faith on the other hand, usually brings along with it the implication that it’s needed to achieve those goals that seem out of reach, hence hearing phrases like “taking a leap of faith” when it comes to those types of situations. In other words, that term is usually used in the context of achieving extraordinary goals.
One good example is as follows:
When Thomas Alva Edison pioneered the invention of the practical light bulb - he had faith; the subsequent men and women who were able to match and even improved such invention – they had belief.
Were you able to understand it?
I know you are able to get what I am trying to implore. And since you are ready, so let's go deeper into our religiosity. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen as it is forcefully clarifies that the "things hoped for" are not things of this world, and the "things not seen" are spiritual things more real than any physical thing we desire here. Thus, it is by faith that we understand that the world we see was made by (or, "through," or "from") God's words, so that God's invisible Word is the reality behind what we see.
Hbr 11:1(KJV) Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
For the same reason, it is impossible to please God without faith -- if we are so captivated by our own needs and by what we see around us that we can't see God as the reality behind it, we can't believe God (who tells us that He, not what we see, is real) or believe that He rewards us in a reality we can't yet see.
Jhn 1:1(KJV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God.3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Hbr 11:2(KJV) For by it the elders obtained a good report.3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
And as the verses above say, it is by faith, faith that God and His unseen reward are more real than what we see, that the ancients obtained approval.

Titus 1:16 Such people claim they know God, but they deny him by the way they live. They are detestable and disobedient, worthless for doing anything good.
I am referring to those heads of the churches including yours who things of themselves that they truly know God but they are not.
Titus 1:13 This is true. So reprimand them sternly to make them strong in the faith.
ts 1:15 Everything is pure to those whose hearts are pure. But nothing is pure to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, because their minds and consciences are corrupted.

I encountered a thread when I visited Linsi's Multiply Site entitled: Christians, can you please explain what god's policy of non interference has to do?
linsea.multiply.com/links/item/163
There, a guy named Brian represented his opinion until such time hat I indirectly dissected his belief when I cornered the guy of not accepting a yes or no question so that I can be able to put a real blow in his faith. He declined and evaded to answer the simple question whether Jesus Christ has all the authority which is the same question the Lord was asked during His time here on Earth. I was even called a freak by the guy in order to misdirect the attention away from the question because he knew that he was already cornered. Brian even mentioned that Jesus Christ broke some rules.
He did another kind of misdirection by saying that Jesus Christ is a great teacher but that all there was to it because I asked once again the verse.
Mat 28:18(NLT) Jesus came and told his disciples, "I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.
But what the person was actually have done as a proof of dissecting him is that he fell into the notion of not practicing freewill but rather he used freedom in doing so. I hope you see the difference that the guy misdirected his ownself. He was just afraid to show his weakness which I had already seen beforehand.
Do you know why I am using the guy as an example to this scenario? because it is analogous to some of the church leaders of today that they always think of themselves that they are right of what they are doing and to question them is likened to questioning God. So ask them if they have the authority to do so or they are just implementing what is only right for them. And for them to make amend is a show of weakness and all they can do if they know that would be cornered is they tend to use misdirection.
But God gave Jesus all the authority here on earth and on heaven. Did Jesus really come to break God's laws mentioned in the Old Testament?

If Jesus was given all authority on earth, why He does not know when will be the judgment day as written-, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, no one knows--neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son--except the Father Matthew 24:36
