Sa Parable of the Sower Matt 13:3-23; Mk 4:2-20; Lk 8:4-15. Luke 8:4-15 3And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; 4And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: 5Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: 6And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. 7And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: 8But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. Yung seeds napunta sa apat na klaseng lugar di ba? kay migy ulet at jiro pedeng explain po kung ano anong ibig sabihin nung apat na lugar?

Hi Leanne, Let me share how i respectfully believed the Word of God... Let us Start from Luke Chapter 8:
4 While a large crowd was gathering and people were coming to Jesus from town after town, he told this parable: 5 "A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds of the air ate it up. 6 Some fell on rock, and when it came up, the plants withered because they had no moisture. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up with it and choked the plants. 8 Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown." When he said this, he called out, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear." Our Lord Jesus Christ enlightens His Disciples after wards stating in His Word;
Luke 8:9 His disciples asked him what this parable meant. 10 He said, "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, " 'though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.'
Luke 8:11"This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God.
12 Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.
13 Those on the rock are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away.
14 The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life's worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature.
15 But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.
God enlightens us therefore by stating that His Seed (Word of God) practiced / done...
I do believed that Our Lord Jesus Christ teaches 4 kinds of FAITH of men that He actually is preaching for the Group of People...
No Matter what we do in this world, the Best will we could ever had is on what the WORD is stating to:
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be PERFECT, THROUGHLY FURNISHED unto ALL good works" (2 Tim. 3:16-17)
Romans 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have* peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
God Bless Leanne & to All of Us P7 People,

THE PARABLE OF THE SAINT
There were two evil brothers. They were rich and used their money to keep their ways from the public eye. They even attended the same church and looked to be perfect Christians. After some time, their pastor retired and a new one was hired. Not only could this new pastor see right through the brothers’ deception, he also spoke well and true, and the church started to swell in numbers. A fund-raising campaign was even started to build a new assembly. Time came when one of the brothers died. The remaining brother sought out the new pastor the day before the funeral and handed him a check for the amount needed to finish paying for the new building. “I have only one condition,” he said. “At his funeral, you must say my brother was a saint.”
The pastor gave his word and deposited the check. The next day at the funeral, the pastor carried out the rites. “He was an evil man,” he said. “He cheated on his wife and abused his family. But, compared to his brother, he was a saint.”
HAHAHAHA Akala niyo parabola noh?
Neway, kidding aside, I like Parekoy's answer in replying to Leanne's querry about the four places.
[/color][/b]

If there are four kinds of hearers, only one out of four or 1/4 heard and listened as presented by the good soil. Others were of no good use.
Out of 100 percent only 25 percent will listen.
Come ot think of it, no matter what you do, only 25 percent of the hearers will listen. I am not a fatalist. That's a fact.

Umpisahan ko rin ang isang tanong na nabasa ko naman sa internet. Is Christian Media failing? Now, though, Christian and inspirational stories are widely available in secular places. Even the most committed Christians no longer have to shop only at Christian stores or buy only Christian media. "I don't shop at a Christian bookstore," admits Ginger Kolbaba, the current editor of TCW. "Not when I can go online." Even more important, evangelical Christians are less willing to identify themselves as a coherent group embodying one set of values. As a result, it seems Christians are more willing to take their parenting and relationship advice from secular sources. "This next generation, they can read a marriage magazine or a parenting magazine and filter it through their Christian world view without saying, 'I need Today's Christian Marriage or Today's Christian Woman'," says Don Pape, publisher of trade books for David C. Cook, a Christian publishing firm. "I can pick up a music magazine and I don't need a writer to say, 'You will like this because it's a Christian artist.' I can do that myself. I think that's one of the issues." In the old days, efforts by Christian or secular companies to "cross over" into foreign turf were considered quixotic. But the popularity of the book The Shack and the music of Carrie Underwood, not to mention The Passion of the Christ and the selection of Kris Allen as America's newest Idol, demonstrate how defunct the conventional wisdom has become.
